Jul 31 2007, 9:42 AM EDT Given Kirk's visibility over the BP Whiting permit issue, it looks like he may well be running. He at least seems to not have ruled out a run. (He also was visible at the local parades on the 4th and will be at the Lake Forest parade this weekend.) The Seals/Footlik dynamic is starting to develop. Both attended a local fundraiser for the 10th Dems at which Sen. McGovern spoke. Dan Seals was clearly the crowd favorite, but Jay Footlik is clearly not backing down. It will be interesting to see what the D3C does in the primary for this one. Do you find this valuable? |
