Rep. David Price
Dec 16 2006, 6:36 PM EST Rep. Price has easily won re-election to Congress from his district numerous times. It is comprised largely of the "blue" counties of NC, that is , Durham and Orange. He is relatively pro-business (having been a business prof at Duke before entering politics) but was "liberal" enough and courageous enough to oppose the Iraq invasion. He speaks well, and listens even better. I think he's the perfect "Southern gentleman" candidate to oppose Dole. And his current seat in Congress would easily stay in Democratic hands given the liberal/academic political bent of many of the district's voters. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
