Senator Levin chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee and also the permanent subcommittee on Investigations. The first is charged with Congressional oversight of the Iraq and Afghanistan military operations, and the subcommittee on Investigations has almost unlimited jurisdiction. Our support for his reelection should hinge in large part on how these committees bring into public view the corruption of contractors, the manipulation of intelligence by the Bush Administration, the infringement of civil liberties - all of it. 3  out of 13 found this valuable. Title: A bill to direct the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a program to decrease emissions of greenhouse gases, and for other purposes.

Levin is in favor of this bill. I firmly believe that Mr. Levin is acutely aware that global warming is the greatest scam ever shoved down the throats of the American people.

No thanks Levin...I don't wish for any more of my hard earned tax dollars to be handed over to corrupt politicians who are in the thick of it with greedy big businesses such as Enron and Dupont who aim to fleece the American people while rationing out energy to us.

Why is Levin in favor of ratification of the Law of the Sea Treaty. If this treaty were ratified, it would be the first time in the history of this great nation that "We the People" would be subject to taxation by an international bureacracy. Do you hear me Americans? The United Nations would be imposing a tax on American citizens and businesses.

This is a blatant violation of our Constitution which states that "We the People" have the ability to elect the officials which spend our tax dollars. Do your research Americans. The United Nations is seething with corruption. A good place to start...run a search on the "Oil for Food scandal" which the U.N. was responsible for.

Another alarming aspect of this treaty is the realization that if ratified, for the first time in the history of our great nation, American citizens would in certain circumstances, be lorded over by a law body known as the International Tribunal. Do your research and discover how many of these nations that we have aided vote against us every chance they get.

Why is Senator Levin in favor of subjecting ANY American citizen to a judicial body which would, in large part, be comprised of those who detest the American people and our way of life?
