Pre Super Dooper Tuesday Question?
Feb 4 2008, 11:39 PM EST
I was a John Edwards guy from the get go! Tomorrow my state of NY and 23 others go to caucus amd primary. I can support either of these two Democratic finalists. How will I vote, if I believed in the antage that in the primary you get to fall in love but in the general you got to fall in line, I would vote Obama. But I am instead voting for Hillary. No, I do not love her politics but I love her grit, determination, combativeness and resiliency. She is the energizer bunny and that makes her likely to defeat the Republicans in November. Which way are you folks going on SDT? 2  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I am an Australian who not surprisingly lives in Australia. Just interested in US politics a little :)

I would vote for Clinton if I could vote at all.

re nterest - I am interested in poliics full stop. But american politics is particularly interesting given the effect your elections and foreign policy have on the world. Got interested after Florida 2000.
Re: Crocodile Dundee etc - For those of us who are descended from convicts it is a badge of pride (I'm not). As for Dundee let me say this - the best piece of schnitzel I ever ate was Croc schnitzel!

Hey dem247365, that is a snarky comment for a visiting friend! Sorry benawu, We have a bit of a penal colony history here in the states as well. Back in those days you found some of your very best people in the British criminal justice system! What is your take on the presidential primary races so far? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Dude McCain is a lock for the GOP. Could be either Clinton or Obama. Pity the ticket is unlikely to be Clinton/Obama. The breathless prasing doesn't wash with me so well. There were record turnouts before 2004 too! Do you find this valuable?

I think we may well have a Clinton/Obama ticket. I have a gut check that tells me she will win the nomination and will need to offer him the second spot to fully unite the party. Alot depends if Michelle will allow Barack to accept number 2? She is a black Hillary in her own right and don't be surprised to see her become a future Senator from IL. I think she plays a huge role in his strategy and political decisions. A Clinton/Obama ticket would be a political sunami for the Democratic Party in November. McCain will have to take Huckabee to win over the evangelical right wing of the party. That ticket will look real bad alongside Clinton/Obama! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
