RE: 2010?
Feb 1 2008, 10:15 PM EST Well for the house it is a bit early to tell but consider this list of goppers who may still retire this time but who are more likely to retire before 2010 - Castle - DE AL, McHugh - NY-23, Young - FL-10, Gerlach - PA-06, Bono - CA-45, Reynolds - NY-26 (may lose in 08), Tiberi - OH-12. That is the start of a very juicy competitive house race list. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 2 2008, 11:44 AM EST You think Bono might retire? She is only like 45, and she is going to marry Connie Mack. How about the Senate and Governors elections? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 2 2008, 1:41 PM EST Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) is most likely going to retire. She has been in the senate for a long time and is ready to come home. There is rumors of Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-2) filling her shoes, but I don't think that is going to happen. Slick Rick Larsen is nowhere near big enough to pull it off. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 3 2008, 2:36 PM EST I wouldn't think she would retire because she is no.4 in the dem leadership and she isn't very old. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 4 2008, 6:11 PM EST How about the Senate? The only D incumbents that seem like they could potentialy be vulnerable are Nevada, and Colorado. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 6 2008, 1:15 PM EST There seem to be a lot of GOP seats that could be vulnerable in the Senate. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 9 2008, 7:44 PM EST Re Senate. I think Colorado is the only competitive Democratic race. As for the gop I think the following will be very competitve - Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kentucky, Iowa, New Hampshire. That assumes no retirements or scandal which would change the math somewhat. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: 2010?
Feb 10 2008, 12:50 AM EST I think there is a lot of potential for a lot of close races. The GOP could win in states like Hawaii, Maryland and Vermont if there are retirements and they get good candidates. I think Alaska, Kansas, North Carolina and South Dakota could be close as well. North Dakota and Nevada are possibilities as well if there are good challengers. Do you find this valuable? |
