In an online Yahoo newsgroup, a Republican from Virginia suggested that Republican State Senator Jeannemarie Devolites (also known as Mrs. Tom Davis) might make a bid for this, if it is an open seat. Anyone with VA connections care to comment on this??

Looking at this article here, http://www.timesdispatch.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=RTD%2FMGArticle%2FRTD_BasicArticle&%09s=1045855935264&c=MGArticle&cid=1149192189924&path=%21news%21politics, seems like Warner is not comfortable with the field of replacements behind him, which makes me wonder if Davis runs for re-election if the Dems will follow the rule of thumb that it takes most politicians two tries to win there first office and go with Andrew Hurst again or if they will chance recruiting another novice, cause I don't feel that even with the Democratic trend on Nova that there will be any more established D's willing to challenge Davis in '08 then there were in '06. Thoughts?
