Phil Avillo is unlikely to run again in 2008. He only won 33% of the vote this year, he's fairly old, and his campaign manager has requested that Avillo yard signs be "disposed of" rather than turned back in to the candidate or one of his staffers.
There's a very good chance the Democrats will fail to find a candidate for this district. Avillo was the first Democrat to run in the 19th since the 2000 elections. |
