2008 Races
- NH-01 (incumbent: Democrat Carol Shea-Porter)
- NH-02 (incumbent: Democrat Paul Hodes)
- NH-Gov (incumbent: Democrat John Lynch)
- NH-Sen (incumbent: Republican John Sununu)
Snapshot
While NH has traditionally been considered a reliably Republican state, it has in recent years seen a swing towards the Democratic side. In 2004, NH elected a Democratic governor, John Lynch and voted for John Kerry over George W. Bush. This trend continued in 2006, when New Hampshirites elected Democratic challenger Paul Hodes over Republican incumbent Charlie Bass in the NH-02 district. At the same time in NH-01, Democratic challenger Carol Shea-Porter upset Republican incumbent Jed Bradley. Shea-Porter, Hodes, Lynch, and Republican Senator John Sununu are all up for re-election in 2008.Statewide Blog - Blue Hampshire

Watch
Former Congressman Jed Bradley was quoted in the Manchester Union Herald today as intending to challenge Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter to win his old seat back in 2008 so he should probably be listed as a candidate for NH-1.
