5/8/2008 Vito Fossela's Very Bad Week
On May 1st, 2008, Vito Fossela (R-NY 13) was stopped in Alexandria, VA, on suspicion of DUI and his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.17, which is more than twice the legal limit. He was arrested.
The woman who bailed him out, Laura Fay, is the mother of his 3 year old daughter. However, Fossela is already married with 3 other children. Fossela admitted paternity on May 8th after several days of speculation.
A number of insiders stated Fossela would not seek re-election.
