Background Information
New Hampshire's second congressional district is the larger (geographically) of the two NH districts. NH-02 is also considered more Democratic-leaning than NH-01.While NH has traditionally been considered a reliably Republican state, it has in recent years seen a swing towards the Democratic side. In 2004, NH elected a Democratic governor, John Lynch and voted for John Kerry over George W. Bush. This trend continued in 2006, when New Hampshirites elected Democratic challenger Paul Hodes (a former attorney who had unsuccessfully challenged Bass for the seat in 2004) in New Hampshire's second district, over Republican incumbent Charlie Bass. The Democratic trend continued in 2008 with Hodes's re election and the defeat of US Senator John Sununu by former Governor Jeanne Shahenn.

Special emphasis on the 2008 presidential election, and the New Hampshire First in the Nation Presidential Primary. Now with “Pop-up Politicians”, giving readers bios, voting records and more for every politician listed on the site. |

Outstanding job on this page. The basic default table set-up seemed a little weak to me at first, but I really love what you've done with this page. Keep up the good work, and hopefully others will follow your excellent example.
