I was talking to someone the other day and they told me (oooh! a rumor) that Marlow was from Lincoln County. They also said that, according to their sources he hasn't voted in an election in Lincoln for more than ten years. Is this true? Will the Lincoln County Elections Board Know the truth?

Very professional site-- except you somehow managed to forget Denise Freeman, the best informed and most involved candidate. She's been to every debate and forum so far. Where have you guys been? You can still catch her tomorrow, June 13, with the rest of the candidates, except, of course, Whitehead, who firmly believes that he is far too good to descend to the level of meeting with the general public and answering questions like a mere mortal.The other 9 will be at East Friendship Baptist, 480 Arch St. Athens at 7PM. Drop in and learn who they really are, what they say and who among them can actually speak without a script.

Don't be surprised if the district elect a democrat to that seat since Don Johnson held that seat back in 1992.

I would hesitate to say that Norwood is likely to run again. I know he has had major health problems.
