I was a John Edwards guy from the get go! Tomorrow my state of NY and 23 others go to caucus amd primary. I can support either of these two Democratic finalists. How will I vote, if I believed in the antage that in the primary you get to fall in love but in the general you got to fall in line, I would vote Obama. But I am instead voting for Hillary. No, I do not love her politics but I love her grit, determination, combativeness and resiliency. She is the energizer bunny and that makes her likely to defeat the Republicans in November. Which way are you folks going on SDT?

Candidates really shouldn't post things about themselves on this website. I really don't think it does any good and as far as I know no serious candidate has done that.

Seems to me it'd be easier to read the lists of candidates if the tables looked different somehow for D's R's and others. Just a thought.

| walja | include race and/or other bio info for candidates? | 3 | Nov 3 2007, 12:15 PM EDT by SerriaFox | |||

There are times and races where the color of your skin matters, right or wrong.
I do a lot of candidate updates, and often I found myself wanting to include demograhic info that is perceived to have a potential impact on the race. Everytime I back away however. But using the recently vacated 37th CD in California where Juanita Millender-McDonald just passed away as an example, the district is approx. 43% hispanic, 25% black, and Millender-McDonald the former office holder was a member of the Black Caucus on Capitol Hill. It is sometimes hard to remember every biography fact of every politician that considers running for Congress or a Governorship. Comments anyone? walja

Is there any way to have the "recent site activity" extended (perhaps on a separate page), so we can see ALL of the pages that have been updated, and not just the most recent three? At least dating back a day or two. Is this even possible?

I'm creating a wiki on Republicans, past and present. It includes what ever your want to talk about, today's politics, the race for president, issues on capital hill, and anything else you can think of. The address is http://thegopwiki.wetpaint.com
So come on and help out. This wiki is for everyone and I'd love to have you help make it. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you on there. HJ |

Why have I stopped receiving updates on user input into this site? It used to send weekly updates ranking your contributions and now all I get is bombarded with "a site you are watching has been updated" messages which do not interest me. The stats messages did interest me.

The stock header could use some improvement, eh? Full disclosure: I'm a developer for Wetpaint, but I was a Kos reader long before I began working there. This is the perfect melding of two of my great passions. Awesome idea. This is exactly the kind of thing we build Wetpaint for! And I get to be part of both!

I've seen a few people start linking to ActBlue pages, but unfortunately they're linking to 2006 ActBlue pages (not 2008 ones, as there aren't many/any yet). I'm all for ActBlue, but does the money even go anywhere if it's donated to a 2006 campaign page on ActBlue? We should figure something out with regard to this.

The SOS is critical to honest elections and we must put a HUGE effort on electing as many honest SOS's as we can get in every election.

I'll be posting info on the Doc Hastings race for 2008. The rumor is that he will not be running in 2008, so we're on the hunt for that seat!
